This is the basic, middle of the road panel that Alderon
makes. It has their signature “Check-it” board, a square-D breaker, and a
Schneider contactor. It has 4 changeable settings that can be configured in the
field using the configure button and the LEDs There is out-of-sequence alarms
which activate if the start float is activated before the stop float. An
automatic alarm reset which will shut off the alarm after the alarm float
drops. High float redundant start which turns the pump on regardless of where
the stop and start floats are. And the setting that turns the green beacon off
unless the pump is running. It is incased in a NEMA 4X 10x8x4 box.
CHECK-IT PANEL TROUBLE-SHOOTING TIPS
GREEN BOARD ISN’T LIGHTING UP
1. Make sure that the 120V circuit is correctly connected to the power lugs on the green board.
2. Make sure the 120V circuit is live with 120V on it.
PUMPS AREN’T TURNING ON
1. Make sure the pumps are correctly inserted into the lugs on the board.
2. Make sure the breaker is turned on in the panel.
3. Make sure the panel is in auto or hand.
4. Make sure the floats are all operating correctly and in the correct positions.
(3 FLOAT OPERATION) IT WILL NOT COME OUT OF ALARM CONDITION
1. Make sure all the floats are down.
2. Hold the toggle switch until it beeps 5 times
3. Make sure they did not put a float on terminals 1 & 2
a.If a float was installed on terminals 1&2 either hook the float back up and keep it tipped up or install a jumper wire. Clear the alarm condition and reprogram the panel to not have a low level alarm float using the manual.
